PillSheet: Terms of Use & Privacy Policy
Terms of Use
These terms are between you and MCS Strategies, LLC ("we"), which makes PillSheet. By using PillSheet you agree to them. Apple's standard licence for App Store apps also applies.
What PillSheet is
PillSheet is a personal organizer. It keeps a list of medications you enter or photograph, and prints a pill box sheet, a medication list and a wallet card. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, check for drug interactions, or tell you what to take.
No medical advice
Nothing in PillSheet is medical advice. Always follow the directions of your doctor, your pharmacist and the pharmacy label. If PillSheet and a label or a professional disagree, they are right. Do not start, stop or change a medicine because of anything shown in PillSheet.
Accuracy and your responsibility
The label reader uses artificial intelligence and can be wrong: it may misread a name, strength, dose or time, or misunderstand a typed change. You are responsible for checking every proposed change before saving it, and for checking printouts against the pharmacy labels before filling a pill box. You use PillSheet at your own risk.
People you add
You may add another person's medications only if you help manage them and have that person's (or their legal representative's) permission.
Emergencies
PillSheet is not monitored and cannot get help. In an emergency call 911. For a possible overdose or poisoning call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222.
Limits of liability
PillSheet is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, MCS Strategies, LLC is not liable for any harm or loss arising from using PillSheet, including from errors in a list, a reading or a printout.
Privacy Policy
Where your information is kept. Medication lists and personal details (such as birth date, allergies, doctor and emergency contact) are stored on your iPhone. They are included in your iPhone's own backup (iCloud or computer) if you use one. We do not have a copy.
What is sent to us. When you use the label reader, the label photos, any words you type, and the current list for that person are sent over an encrypted connection to our label reader. It uses AI services (currently Anthropic and Google) to read them and sends back a proposed change. We do not keep the photos, words or list after the reading is returned, and the AI services do not use them to train their models. Printing goes directly from your iPhone to your printer.
What we never do. We do not sell your information, show ads, or share it with anyone except the AI services above for the sole purpose of reading the label.
HIPAA. HIPAA covers doctors, pharmacies, health plans and their service providers. PillSheet is an app you use for yourself or your family, so HIPAA does not apply to it. We still treat everything you enter as private health information.
Deleting your information. Delete a person in the app, or delete the app, to remove the lists from this iPhone.
Changes and contact
